With a friend saw a museum. Reykmuseum is good, after all; first time I wasn’t in artistic mood and all people on paintings seemed ugly to me. They are still ugly ;) but searching for attractive people is not a good way of watching Dutch art. There are so many details about essence of life in those pictures… Chilling out in a park, riding on a scooter, making dinner… Nice dayJ
Next day afternoon with lovely gentle Danish girl. Eating local food and having conversation about emotions. That’s refreshing, instead of typical for here staying on a surface (in a good way and in a bad way).
Evening spent on platform next to the Eye, in Silent Cinema, with friend journalist. This great artistic idea is part of the Grachtenfestival. Open air cinema (first ‘Emigrant’ with Chaplin, and next Gogol’s ‘Overcoat’) with live classical music (chamber orchestra), like in old silent movies. Chaplin was very funny and beautiful. Gogol’s story dark and intense. Orchestra – really great. View from that platform is one of the best, especially at night. Being in real Silent cinema in the middle of the modern city was cool experience. After finding my bike, somewhere in the middle of the path, with nice night chat about politics, we continued to Science Park.
Beautiful day – perfect for the beach. I am not really a beach person, but I think I will find something interesting to do.
Wow, what a dayJ Pure joy and relaxation on the North sea coast.
First, ride on a scooter through the nature under the shiny sun. Harlem is nice little place.
Then, the beach Bloomendale. Very crowdie place. Lot of funny restaurants, in orange, pink and blue. Design is kitsch, like every beach coast design, but cheerful. Imitation of Far East buildings, with little towers, cupolas and palm treas. There are two discothèques, opened during the day and night. One is fancy and expensive, other is better for chilling out, with good energetic bend.
View is clear and purifying. No land on a horizon, just big and powerful North sea.
It’s interesting during the tide. Then there are like few layers of water and land. Like little sand islands.
Movie evening. Good one (strange, without lot of speech, with twisted Bible symbolic) E Popo. But, I fall a sleep before the end.
I had a dream about eating a big pizza.
